AutoFlash……FLOOR STANDS & ACCESSORIES……MODEL QS……MODEL C FLASH
DRYERS Under the trade name of Quick SilverŇ , Intek Corporation manufactures flash dryers for everyone - from the novice screen printer to the fully automated high performance shop. The Model QS is generally used as a stand alone flash dryer and, when used with the optional floor stand or variable heat control and other available options, enhances any screen printing operation regardless of size. The Quick SilverTM AutoFlash Model S is an automatic flash dryer that is well suited for manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic operation. The Quick SilverTM Model E operates similarly to the AutoFlash, in that it glides from one position to another, but relies on the automatic printer to provide the motivation. For automatic printers such as TAS models and others, the Model E dryer is mounted directly into the printing station as though it were a screen, thereby creating a drying station. In operation the squeegee activator of the printer is then programmed to index the Model E to perform the drying process and then return to its home position. The Quick SilverTM AirFlash offers the advantages of radiant infrared energy, but with the added benefit of convection. This combination provides a more gentle approach to drying heat sensitive products such as nylon jackets and others. A perforated element allows full benefit of forced air to reach the substrate for maximum performance. The control box provides prewired integral controls for varying the air and temperature produced by the AirFlash. Model C flash dryers can be used as a free standing flash cure unit, but because of it's trim size is best suited for use when installed in most automatic printers such as the M&R brand and others. Model O dryer modules are generally used either as a specialty flash unit, a supplemental heat source, or as replacement units for conveyor dryers of any make. All Intek flash dryers include the patented Intek heating element for maximum efficiency and high output. Intek’s patented design offers temperature outputs in the practical far infrared range of 3.4 to 8 microns (approximate temperature equivalent 1200° F - 100°F). The simple radiant energy produced by the patented Intek element is safe and is transferred by invisible waves, which upon reaching the object to be heated, are absorbed and converted to useable heat energy. Intek’s patented flat panel infrared elements do not utilize glass tubes, or metal rods at the emitting source, and reflectors, common in some designs, are not required. Intek can provide dryers with custom dimensions, wattage and voltage configurations. |
